We like Zen Club to feel like a place where kids can be anything they are on that day. Sometimes this means we gently stretch or practice Yin, we might play a Yoga Pose game and do pilates, or meditate in the swings -whatever energy they show up with, we respond to;
Physical:
Breathwork
Yoga: Hatha, Vinyasa, and Yin
Mat Pilates
Aerial Yoga (yoga swings)
Yoga Nidra (relaxation)
Fort naps
Mental/emotional:
Emotional & Relationship wellbeing skills
Developing routines to support health
How to ask for help and support
Conversations and support
Spiritual:
Mindfulness
Meditation
Crystal singing bowls
Zen Club is open to 7 year olds - 14 years olds.
We love supporting your kids mental and physical health. If they are showing an interest in Zenly classes, they are more than welcome to attend with you.
We recommend;
Mat Pilates and Weights -for strengthening and body connection
Yin -for relaxation and deeper sleep
Yoga Foundations and Signature Flow -to advance their Yoga practice
At Zenly we believe that there is no such thing as 'other people's children', that we are all in this together. Community can be hard to find in city upbringings, so we created a space to feel a sense of belonging and support. Zenly provides safe spaces to learn, practise, and benefit from mindfulness, movement, music, and simply being heard.
Humans' academic, social-emotional, and mental health are built on a foundation of healthy, consistent, and secure relationships with the people around them. A person's relationship environment begins in the family, and then extends to adults and peers outside of the family who have important roles in their life. Teachers, coaches, family friends, and friends' families occupy this significant place in many young lives. This is where kids and teens identify their values and align their actions to them, allowing them to feel more secure in their relationships and the environments they exist in.
It's an honour to hold this space for the young people in our community.
Our St Peters Studio has wheelchair access.
Interpreters are of course welcome.
Zenly is a neuro affirming space with options to be nonverbal using the 'not speaking today' stickers and opting in/out of activities. Lights are low and there are many places to rest.
Please email frankie@zenly.com.au with any further enquires.
We take child safety very seriously here at Zenly, and we aim to be transparent so that we can all work together to keep kids safe.
Our Zenly Child Safe Handbook is updated every 6 months at minimum and communicated with staff.
We have posters up at Zenly at child height that clearly explain how to report, and we talk to kids openly about how we are working to keep them safe.
We are open always to discuss Child Safety via hello@zenly.com.au.
